Craig Williamson: Developer

Mr. Williamson brings over 20 years of successful experience in Real Estate Sales & Marketing, Management, Development, Acquisition and Finance with properties all across the United States as well as the countries of Mexico, Belize, Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Additionally, Mr. Williamson was an executive in the Real Estate division of the Four Seasons at Peninsula Papagayo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. He has acted as the Central American Real Estate Investment Advisor for many North American based Institutional Real Estate Investors as well as hundreds of Private Investors, and currently serves as the President/CEO of ERA Real Estate Costa Rica/Panama. Mr. Williamson also sits on the Board of Directors of the Charitable Organization “The Doit Foundation” (www.doitfoundation.org). This foundation has purchased, assembled and given away thousands of wheelchairs to children in need all across Costa Rica.


Jay Miller: Golf Designer

Jay Miller formed Miller Golf Services after having held positions as Golf Course Superintendent, Owners Representative, Project Manager on several golf development projects. His background has been in the golf industry since 1979 beginning in Florida working on its busy Resort courses. After several years and being involved with three golf course constructions and renovations Jay moved to Costa Rica. Where he completed construction on the first 18 hole golf course in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Later building Hacienda Pinilla home of the J.W.Marriott serving as general contractor in charge of all phases of construction. Jay then accepted the position of Director of Golf Course Operations for Four Seasons Golf Course, Costa Rica. where he was in charge of implementation of the use of saltwater on the golf course.Jay has extensive landscape experience and has developed native tree and ornamental nurseries and been in charge of several reforestation projects.

Jay maintains strong ties with both the University of Florida and Earth University working on sustainable practices in the landscape and golf industries in Costa Rica. Jay is a member of The Golf Course Superintendent Association of America, the Florida Golf Course Superintendent Association and has twice certified golf courses as Audubon Sanctuary Golf Courses being honored twice for environmental stewardship. Jay has been living in Costa Rica for 13 years with his wife Melissa and their two daughters Maila and Kylee.


Carlos Guillermo Ramírez Durán: Architect

He grew up in the United States and graduated from the School of Architecture in the University of Costa Rica with top honors in 1983, the thesis was evaluated as “Exceptional and Outstanding” by the panel of Tutors. The study stated the requirements for the tourist projects needed in order to succeed within the region; it became a guide within the tourist sector in those early years of the tourist development in Costa Rica.

His work has developed mainly in the tourist sector, from the institutional level (design of the tourist categorization program and the cruise ship facilities in Caldera, for the ICT) to the private sector (the International Conference Center of the Hotel Herradura, Hotel Ocotal, the master plan in development for Playa Carrillo for Grupo Costa Sol, Juan Gaviota in Guatemala, and a complex of tourist residences in Paracas, Peru, Hotels Interamerican and Camino Real of Nicaragua, among others).

He has also done extensive work in residential projects (recently a two tower condo project in Ocotal, as well as single family homes), he also has worked in office and commercial proposals (for United, Delta and Iberia Air Lines, the Coca Cola bottler, Grupo Zeta and their convention facilities project, etc). A new project featuring a tourist oriented residential development in the Papagayo Peninsula for T.F. Stone Companies of Dallas of 250 hectares with the Mandarin Hotel included, condos, beach club, golf club, high end spa, etc., the full proposal for Papagayo Estates with an infinity artificial beach complex, under design the Guanacaste Country Club, as well as a 250 room resort in Roatan, Honduras.

Among other studies, he has done considerable research in sustainable development and theme design with Landmark Entertainment Group, from L.A., to the point that he was appointed as co-designer of the World Headquarters for the Earth Council along with the well-known American Architect Paul Bierman-Lyttle, here in Costa Rica.

Manuel Rey: Attorney

Lic. Manuel Rey Gonzalez is the attorney at law in charge of the legal office of Guanacaste Country Club with vast experience in financial and commercial law with the Central Bank of Costa Rica. Part of his professional practice has been in Guanacaste in these types of projects, this assures the Development to be executed in a very secure legal environment in benefit of all parts.

Consultopo Ingeniería S.A. was founded in 1992 and is dedicated to the works of design topography and construction topography. In 1996 started the rises by Double Frequency GPS that were incorporated to the rises of details. Thousands of hectares have been raised by means of this technique and the combination of Total Stations.

Besides we use this technique in mapping with Geographic Information Systems.

Consultopo Ingeniería S.A. has more than ten years of experience in the field of topography and surveying.
